RM Auctions "The Al Wiseman Collection" Catalog 2007
You
are looking at the official catalog of
the Al Wiseman Collection Auction. This collection was auctioned by RM
Auctions company on November 30 - December 1 2007 in Tarpon Springs,
Florida. Al Wiseman's passion for classic cars dates back many years,
and his collection is a fitting reflection of the automotive qualities
he values: performance, style, technical innovation, rarity, and that
indescribable 'wow' factor that makes a car unforgettable. By spanning
the many years of automotive production, from the late nineteenth
century to the present day, his impressive assembly of vehicles
represents a cohesive timeline of American, world and motorized
history. Be it a horse-drawn fuel tanker or an unmistakable film car,
every fascinating story relates to a greater piece of the automotive
puzzle.
Over a decades-long
love affair with vintage motoring, Mr. Wiseman has enjoyed many aspects
of the hobby, participating in everything from racing to restoration,
all the while refining his collection to include outstanding examples
from every era. I addition to classic cars, a sixeable assortment of
automotive memorabilia rounds out the collection.
The Automobiles catalog
provides pictures and information of more than 60 highly original and
impeccably maintained vintage automobiles from all eras. Each car has at least 1 full page of coverage with a color
photo. Some cars have a 2 page spread. An estimate of value is given
for each car. The 1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Merlin has 4
pages of detail/photos.
The catalog has approximately 250 pages and
measures approximately 8 1/4" x 10 1/2".
This softcover RM Auction Catalog is new and has never been read. It retails for $80.00.
