We are a unique online
auction site in our own rights ... We're not eBay (nor will we ever be) ...
We're not the biggest ... Not the best .. Not even the host with the most ... We
are however, a tight knit community of friends (family in many cases) who enjoy
transacting with one another within the structure of our Safe, Secure, and Easy
to use website, which we dubbed AuctionQuests (www.auctionquests.com),
open to the general public since February 2005.
We
offer many catagorizations for your items but primarily our sales (and current
listings) have come from our Art, Antiques, and Collectibles categories, with
more collectibles having been sold than any other items.
Our site, up to this point, has been primarily marketed via word of mouth
and key advertisements. With a member base of several hundred devoted users (at
the time of this writing), this has served us well, however, expansion time is
upon us, and a new membership drive is now in progress.
We've Got the Stuff the Big Guys Have!
Our
features and functionality are the same as most auction platforms. Ray has
created most of the customized solutions for many. We do offer additional
functionality which is not found on the masses, such as IM Alerts and our
Digital Download Delivery system, Turbo Lister... to only name a few. We do
cross promote your listings with all of the applicable tools of the trade
(Google Base, Froogle, BidHopper, BidFind, and Usenet).
Our Fee Structure is simple: You pay a flat 2% final value fee if (and
only if) your item sells, period. There are no other fees involved unless you
wish to become an ID Verified Member, optional $2.50. All other services are
provided free of charge including (but not limited to): Stores, Blogs, Featured
Listings, Listing Features, Media Uploads, and Digital
Downloads.
